Collins Elementary Playground

Collins Elementary School was the home for Happy Landings Playground for the last 20 years. The community came together raising 70,000 dollars to build a safe place for all children to enjoy. Sadly this last year for reasons beyond our control the playground had to be demolished and left the children with no playground. With this funding we would like to  raise Happy Landings once again for our community to enjoy. The lives that this community playground will touch is worth every penny that will be donated. With Houghton Lake being a tourist hub in the summer many families will enjoy this playground,  including the students of Collins all year round and other families in the community. We have a goal to break ground on this wonderful playground on May 18th of this year, which would give the students a chance to enjoy a brand new playground before school ends and for the summer. We are looking for any and all help to give the children and the community a playground that they can cherish.
