Kintimate Costumes needs a new roof!!!
Last year at this time when I decided the best move for the company was to convert the house into our costume shop/event space I knew that it needed a new roof. The plan included for Oscar & I to continue living at the shop while I saved to get the roof rolling...... however, it wasn't that easy & as the wet& rainy spring nears, my concerns are growing! So I turn to my friends& family& future customers!
Here's the best part, KINTIMATE WILL DOUBLE THE AMOUNT OF YOUR DONATION IN THE FORM OF A GIFT CERTIFICATE!! and we do ship anywhere!
Once the roof is on, then Oscar & I move to a different house immediately (of course we're staying in Northside!!)& begin to really move forward with the business. Living in the shop has made any movement more difficult than I imagined... Having one room for our bedroom/living room/dining room/kids to play/mom to read/etc.etc. has not been very sparkly... you could say it's been dull, even.
So once we are out, the shop can continue to evolve & we can start to really do something with it!! If you've been to a party here or hosted your own, then you already know that Kintimate parties... well, I throw the best parties ;) Also, once we are no longer tenants, then this house will become available for more than just parties. There is interest from others in hosting a variety of classes, meetings, &two studio spaces becoming available..... then of course, what started it all!!! THE COSTUMES!!!
My goal is to raise the $3200 as fast as possible, get this roof on & then throw one helluva party for our anniversary in June!
If you have yet to see the shop, this is the perfect excuse! You need to come check out the thousand or more items I have for rental, plus the way we've started to decorate this house...... think Willy Wonka, hanging with Timothy Leary, listening to Frank Zappa in Pee Wee's play house. That's kinda the vision with the shop! But I need to move out first!!
