King Street takes over Sky Zone

Our story is one of community. That and a tiny Ecuadorean girl that believes in such things.
It wasn't long ago that Christina presented me with the idea of getting a group together to have a bit of trampoline fun at Sky Zone. Having enjoyed my days with getting King Street together for www.slidetacklesunday.com , I encouraged her to create a Facebook event. And she did.
The turnout for that Friday night was tremendous. We had over twenty people show with many more unable to make it due to work or the late hour at which Christina was forced to plan it. If Ferris' pictures or Matt's video are any indication, the night was brilliant and saturated with laughs. The following day they also inspired jealousy with the rest of our gang. The mob clamored for more.
Christina, Jeff, and I wanted to do it again. But this time we wanted to make sure everyone that wanted to join in would have the ability to do so. We contacted Sky Zone and they presented us with the option of a facility rental outside of their normal operating hours.
The price seems steep, but it's completely doable with enough people. Should you wish to join us on December 7th from 730pm-9pm, we ask that you pledge $25 per person. If you plan on bringing friends or loved ones, please pledge accordingly. If we make our goal, we will have it. If we don't meet our goal, pledges will not be collected and your card will not be charged. It should be noted that the price does include a pair of those spiffy mandatory socks.
While it would be far easier to bypass this, grab a few people, and make a return trip, it wouldn't be nearly as rewarding. We should be that community to which we always speak. We should revel in the awesomeness that is King Street. We should play. And laugh. Let us simply be us.
And when you see Christina, give her a hug (since she loves them) and let her know she is amazing. Her tiny idea inspired oceans of joy.
