Kidz Helping Kidz: School for Haiti

Hi! My name is Jarrett Johnson! In October of 2011, I visited the nation of Haiti for the first time. I was impacted deeply by the way the children there live and struggle. 

God laid it upon my heart to build a school in Haiti, so I started my own mission project called Kidz Helping Kidz. When I went to Haiti, I saw with my own eyes a school falling apart. I knew something needed to be done for the kids in Haiti. So far, the land that the school will be built on has been paid for, the 12-foot wall that the will border the school has been built, and the feeding shelter and kitchen are currently being completed.

A lot of progress has been made, but we still need your help! I am trying to raise $60,000 so we can finally build the school for the children in Haiti! 

Our goal is to build a school that will accommodate over 500 students! This project will also include a new commercial playground that will be built on the property. This playground will be extra special to the Haitian children as most have never experienced or even seen a playground before. The playground will help develop their physical and mental strength.

Upon completion of this project, the school, playground and the property will be turned over to International Missions Outreach, operated by missionaries, John and Joyce Hanson who are orginially from Clendenin, West Virginia, but have lived in Haiti for 35 years. IMO is a Haitian accredited organization.
