Kids Dress 4 Success is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that I started in 2010 to donate school uniform clothes to underprivileged public school students in Alachua County.
We need your help! Donate a shirt to an at-risk student today.
Over 7,000 students in Alachua County live in poverty, and over 300 of them are homeless. While many school-aged kids are getting their new "back-to-school clothes", these kids can only hope their old clothes from last year still fit. Many of them don't have parents or anyone to take the time to get them the clothes they need for school.
Keep a kid in shcool, buy a him a shirt!
Kids who grow up in poverty only have a 50% chance at best of graduating high school. One of the biggest reasons they fail to graduate is lack of attendance. The problem is, without the 'approved school uniform clothes; these kids are sent home - not allowed in the classroom. So our goal is get these kids the clothes they need to stay in school, and help them achieve their goal of graduating high school and ultimately working their way out of poverty.
