Kids Day Party is a project that brings gifts of new and gently used clothing, shoes, toys, and essentials to children living in depressed areas around La Carlota City in the Philippines.

We collect donations and organize a day full of fun for the people, primarily kids, living around Ara-Al, Philippines. My wife was originally from Ara-Al and I brought her out to the United States. When she left she told me how she didn't get a childhood like we did. That very moment I decided I wanted to do something, so I started Kids Day Party.

It turns out that a popular toy, where my wife lived, was bottle caps. They would play with soda or beer bottle caps for entertainment. I wanted to change that.

I strongly believe that kids need toys to  expand their imagination, to learn, to develop ideas, and to grow. Toys are the key to imagination. Imagine if you grew up without any toys. Some of the toys were our best friends growing up.

All proceeds go into making a party complete with games, food, candy, clothing, shoes, and entertainment. The children are our guests of honor and we make sure to treat them to luxuries that our children get to enjoy here and pack it into one huge party for them to experience!

We want them to know that there is more to life than just making it from day to day. Our main goal with Kids Day Party is to provide a place where kids get a chance to experience the things that are common in our children’s lives.

There are places in the Philippines where children don't even get a childhood because their family needs them to work as soon as they can walk.

Kids Day Party offers an opportunity for the children to forget their reality for a day and enter a world where anything is possible. It’s a wonderland filled with games to play, prizes to win, and delightful treats to taste; maybe for the first time ever. We create a place of magic! We transform their streets into this wonderland of their dreams.

As magical as Kids Day Party is, magic alone is not enough to make this transformation from imagination to reality. Through the help of volunteers and generous donations Kids Day Party is possible. Volunteers wake early in the morning to make food, build games, set up decorations, and blow up balloons. Donations provide the ability to obtain these materials and toys that make this day so special. It is a gift these children will never forget.


Kids Day Party builds memories. As the children grow up, they will look back on those parties, back on those days that they felt special. They will look back on those times and remember the joy of being a kid.
