A Mother’s Dying Wish
Donation protected
In October of 2014, our mother, Susie Ann Rhodes, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was given 6 months to live. She began chemotherapy shortly afterward. However, in May of this year, she suffered an internal rupture causing her to become hospitalized and in a family/doctor meeting, we were told that her best option was hospice care so she could die with dignity. While hospitalized, our mother made her wish clear that she wanted to pass at home and since June, she has been under home hospice care.
Unfortunately, we are now running into financial difficulties covering the cost of her in-home care and will be forced to have her moved to a facility. We are asking for assistance to help keep our mother at home. And, although we know that everyone who reads this may not be able to donate funds, we do ask that you please keep us in your prayers.
Thank You,
The Rhodes Family
