Ken's business inspired by my sons

Hi everyone,
My name is Ken and I'm seeking funding to make the dream to create my own company come true that was inspired by my children. I'm a very proud father of three amazing children and have one of each, an incredible son Adam, an amazing daughter Jillian and an Angel Ian.
Ten years ago we were expecting identical twin boys. At just 23 weeks into the pregnancy, my life changed forever. Due to Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Adam measured 23 weeks gestation and Ian was only at 19 weeks gestation. Ian died in my arms after only 3 hours with us. Adam, though born at 23 weeks and weighing only 15 ounces (dropping to 12 ounces at one point), spent the next intense 6 1/2 months in the NICU before he finally came home for the first time. He has endured many operations, procedures, setbacks and challenges due to such a premature birth. Two years later I had an amazing baby girl enter my life, she is such a princess and daddy's little girl. Ian is thought of everyday and missed terribly, a loss which cannot be expressed with any spoken word.
The inspiration to start my company, ThruVision Technologies, is based on illumination products that I created which came about when I wanted to leave something at my son's grave each year at Christmas. Each year I came up with something different though staying on the same premise.
The money which I hope to raise now will allow me to purchase the needed equipment (laser cutter/engraver, injection molder and software) with small stock quantities of Acrylic sheets to get started right away.
I've refined my idea to allow for a simplified version at a much earlier launch timeline without extensive and costly designs and manufacture requirements or quantities. The product is an illuminated ornament(s) which can express the memory of a loved one, any seasonal decoration, holiday decoration or whatever design you can come up with. These are very customizable and capable of being engraved.
This initial funding will allow me to get started. With the much anticipated profits from my product, I will be able to expand the product line to the already conceived extensions to allow further and sustained company growth.
I'm asking for your help to not only make my dream come true but to help share the inspiration I received from a son I can never hold again.
Whoever believes in me and my product that funds through this initial campaign will forever have my gratitude and appreciation. Anyone who knows me, understands how difficult it is for me to ask for help in general, asking for money is an additional and substantial strain not taken lightly, but I need your help.
Realizing I can't do this without your help and wanting to express my loyalty and desire to give back with our combined success, I'm offering a return on your generosity. After each profitable quarter I will take 1% of total sale profits and pay that out to each donor divided at a percentage of the initial amount donated (due to variable amounts donated) in perpetuity.
Additionally, any donation of $100.00 or more will receive an ornament of your choosing or design with engraving if desired.
