Some of you may already have the pleasure of knowing the beautiful spirit that is Kendia Louis Charles.
Writer, warrior, incredible human being .
Few that have seen her walk or heard her talk, could ever deny the fighter in her. It is with great bewilderment and much sadness that we are choosing to share her recent battle with cancer with hopes of extending her life.
1 year ago, at 33 years of age Kendia was diagnosed with leomysarcoma, an extremely rare and aggressive malignant form of cancer which has spread from her uterus, to her liver, to her lungs. Rapidly. After undergoing surgery and rounds of chemo for the past year to no avail, doctors have given her 6 months to 1 year to live. We believe the universe has something greater in store for her here on planet earth, certainly more time, and by the grace of god, Kendia believes this too. Her awesome spirit would have it no other way.
The goal is to bless Kendia with the ammunition (aka fund$) to continue her fight, and we are extending the opportunity for you to do the same.
We ask that you donate whatever you can to assist Kendia with the conveyor belt of existing and upcoming medical bills. She is super modest about asking for any help, so we are doing it for her, proudly.
We are so utterly grateful for anything that you are able to give, even if it is simply sharing this post and spreading the word to others.
