Every since I can remember, I've had very large breasts. It took me many years to be proud of them and to avoid feeling self-concious about them from day to day. I have found body positivity and strength in my body, but this is not why I'm starting this fund.
It's about chronic pain. My breasts are a 38 DDD; as a result my back is in constant pain, my shoulders have cuts when bra straps settle and I'm constantly having to correct my shoulders because they roll forward to compensate the weight. It gotten to a point where I have sciatic pain because my lower back is so tense, it pinches the nerve and carries the pain up and down my legs.
This fund is to attain the very necessary breast reducion that my insurance company denied me. It's not covered, and even if it were, the requirements would essentially leave me with a mastectomy, not a reduction.
So, I need your help. I'm trying to have my surgury in December, as it will be the only time that I can have it done. Donate what you can afford, and know that from the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful to you. This surgury will change my life and words cannot possibly express the gratitude I feel towards you for just taking the time to read my story and lend a hand.
