Kathy Grimenstein Children's Dept.

My wife, Kathy Grimenstein, a beloved mother and grandmother, and the Fairview Public Librarian for many years,  has left a legacy of love, contagious laughter and a love of books.  She taught the beauty of forgiveness, humility and grace,  as much as the benefits of seeing thoughts and ideas printed in the pages of the written word.

The Williamson County Library Board of Trustees remarked: “The community sendoff accorded Kathy upon her retirement served to demonstrate the totally high regard in which she was held by Fairview in particular and the County Library System in general”. Now she has retired from the struggles of this life, but she has left a huge footprint on many hearts.

What we will remember most about Kathy is how proud she was of her Lord,  children,  grandchildren and of books,  and her mission as a mentor to children and adults at the Fairview Public Library.  She had hope and anticipation for something greater, something eternal and something holy. - Jim Grimenstein
