Katya Brave: Her Chiari Fight

Katya's family and friends are raising money to help with the costs of the past medical bills of two brain surgeries and the upcoming cost and recovery of her third brain surgery scheduled for December 17th, 2013. Katya has Chiari Malformation Type 1 and IIH/PTC and several other diseases. Her first brain surgery was in May and then a second emergency surgery was performed in July. Despite all of these setbacks and complications, Katya has kept a positive attitude and inspired so many people with her smile, strength, and courage. She is a mother of 3 beautiful children and the family has struggled since she has been sick. Her husband has been the sole provider since she has been unable to work since right before the first surgery. In today's world and with mounting medical bills, it has been hard on this family of 5.
