Help Me Get to Malawi
Donation protected
Malawi is a country of 15 million people, 1 million of which are infected with HIV/AIDS--leaving behind over 1.3 million orphans with 700,000 attributed to HIV/AIDS. In this country, where the average daily income is only $1/day, there is limited access to basic health care and medicines. One out of every 36 women dies in childbirth. Seventy-nine out of every 1,000 children die at infancy. The life expectancy is only 54 years.
From July 14 – August 7, 2014 we will be traveling to Mzuzu, Malawi servicing communities through the READ UP Literacy Project, the spoken word of God, HIV/AIDS awareness, economic empowerment projects, and installation of local water infrastructure.
As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. Each member of my team is responsible for fundraising. Please help me reach my goal so that I am able to bring much needed medical, spiritual and educational relief to the people of Malawi.
Yours in Christ,
Kali Wilder
