10 months on Africa Mercy Ships

Hey y'all, Kaitlyn Isabella speaking...

In July of this year, I am traveling to South Africa where I will be boarding the Africa Mercy Ship. I will be spending 10 months on a state-of-the-art mobile hospital ship that does free surgeries for impoverished, hopeless people. They fix cleft lip & palate, severely deformed legs, remove life-threatening tumors, and countless others. . Besides providing this medical care, they bring hope where there is none!

Unfortunately with the lack of education, ignorance to the true causes of these problems is rampant in Eastern Africa. In addition to already struggling on a day-to-day basis, these people are shunned by their families & communities, making it even harder to deal with their lives. 
 
With the surgeries, they are again "normalized" in their societies & are able to return home, to work and they themselves are a walking testimony to the wonderful things that can be done through God's love. 

Throughout my stay, I plan to post vlogs about my experiences and you will have a firsthand look at the lives being changed and how your contribution has helped.
