Police K9 Ballistics Vest and Equipment

Hello! This is K9 Viper the amazing Belgian Malinois that I get to call my partner. He's my boss most of the time (or all the time if you ask him).  Together we patrol the streets and take a bite out of crime.  Viper is typically self-sufficient, but we've ran into a little problem.  We need to get him protected against the bad guys with guns and knives that may want to hurt him.  His idea of a good time is sniffing cars to find drugs and put the bad guy behind bars.  We've been on the street together for a year now.  I trained him myself and have provided most all of the things he's needed on my own.  We just recently recertified his dope sniffer and he's good to go for another year protecting the folks that he lives to serve.

What we're looking for is enough money to get him a ballistic/stab vest and a bite bar (with the misc. supplies) for training on his apprehension skills. ***DUE TO THE AMAZING SUPPORT OF MY DONORS - I am raising the bar slightly to help purchase other items that we need.  The new goal allows us to purchase a full bite suit to protect other officers while training Viper in apprehension and related obedience tasks.  I am planning to purchase this equipment used to alleviate some costs that are associated with new items.  Thanks to a very generous individual, I have been able to secure the purchase of a used (but never worn) ballistics vest for 1/3 the cost of the same vest new.  This vest comes to me from a fellow K9 handler that lost his partner before he was able to put the vest to use.
