K9 for Kayle - seizure response dog

Kayle is 10 now, non verbal, Autistic, Angelman like syndrome, Epilepsy, OCD and ticks are just some of his struggles, we have managed his seizures for many years after trying numerous different medications to help stop his seizures... Unfortunately recently Kayle's meds are struggling to keep control over the seizures and we are running out of options!!!   We are looking, like many families, into the medicinal cannabis program for Kayle but again unfortunately that is going to take time with our government 

We have put in an application for a Seizure Response Dog for Kayle but the cost can be between $20,000 to $25,000 YES YOU READ CORRECTLY. the training of this dog specifically for kayle will take between 2-3 years with ongoing vet and visits to check on the dogs training and performance


NDIS and government services do not cover the cost so it falls on us, his parents! 
I will do anything to keep my boy safe and a response dog could save his life!
