FluorideAustralia.org needs help

About me and the site
I’m Ged, the lone web developer who created www.FluorideAustralia.org on the Sunshine Coast. In 2009 I found Fluoride was a toxin and there was more to this than just “reducing cavities”. So I built the site “for the people” to help with awareness. The site ranks very high in Google and offers another perspective and open discussion to the media’s version.

Now, things have changed here. My wife is pregnant with our first child, as you can imagine it’s quite exciting. At the same time it’s a little concerning as we no longer have two incomes and I will return to fulltime work, giving up my part time business. 

Challenges to overcome
The existing website faces two problems mainly due to old specialised code:
- It is expensive to run with high hosting costs (the service requires VMware/win2003/IIS)
- It isn't easily updated and requires coding skills to add articles and maintain.

Right now the hosting is free, but this free hosting service is getting disconnected on the 2nd February. We can’t afford to take on the high costs. We can fix both problems by migrating to Wordpress, allowing cheap hosting and other people can help manage the site. I am a Wordpress developer and can convert the site without a problem. But, I need your help.

"This is a big job and will take two weeks. I need to raise at least $1200  to re-develop the site in Wordpress to keep it running."
