Help To Walk Again

Donation protected

Hi! My names Olivia and I am 9. I love sports, Katy Perry, arts and crafts and dancing. I don't on the other hand like needles and in the past year I've had 364. Including 4 operations, 7 MRI and 5 CT scans.

Last year in August doctors found a tumour the size of a cricket ball on the back of my brain. The surgery to remove this tumour took 7 and half hours. Doctors said it wasn't as straight forward as they would have hoped and I lost a lot of blood. Unfortunately they couldn't remove all of it.

This operation left me not being able to move, swallow or talk. However after rehab I have slowly been able to learn how to do somethings again.   I am still in a wheelchair and also need full time care.

Part of the surgery has lead me to have Ataxia. Which makes my muscles not receive the signals the brain sends properly and very hard to control. So I find doing the simplest of things very difficult and frustrating sometimes. Doctors say I will have this for the rest of my life.

I have regular trips to the hospital which include my MRI scans to make sure the tumour left in my brain doesn't grow or get 'bad'. If this happens I could need more surgery or possibly radiation and chemo.

Your donations will help me get the equipment I need to help me get back to doing the things I love.  Thank you so much
