Justice for Si

I am asking FaceBook, Dog Lovers, Deaf Dog Lovers community to please share this message golbally. This was indeed an unfortunate and ugly situation that Si and I got tossed in. We did not deserve this.
Si and I share a special connection the last 2 years since he was adopted at 8 weeks old. Si was an unwanted dog who was about to put to sleep because he was deaf. I am deaf myself as well and thought all he needed was a deaf mom. I met and instantly fell in love with him. We were together ever since until this past Tuesday.
In the evening, I came home where I found Si not being himself. He was lethargic. I immediately took him in at ER where I was told he was suffering from a gunshot wound. The surgery was performed immediately afterwards however he passed away during the surgery.
Si was a beautiful deaf Louisiana Catahoula Leopart Cur. Full of energy, loved to play ball throw, chew rawhide ON his mommy, loved peanut butter, think he's a lap dog and very protective of his deaf mother. Si was innocently shot and killed in his own yard.
I can honestly say, that he was my best friend. The fact that someone would take him from me, in the one place he felt most safe, our own yard, is just so heartbreaking to me and also, so distrubing. The individual who done this, need to understand the heartache that they have caused. They need to be held responsible for their actions. With that being said, any additional monies received will be applied to a reward for imformation leading to this individual's arrest. And once again, I would like to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers. The overwhelming support from everyone is truly heartfely and appreciated.
