To Be At My Sister's Wedding

I am the Maid of Honor in my sister's wedding this March. As a recently graduated art student - just starting to break into my industry (illustration), paying student loans, and trying to get health insurance - the cost of living post-graduation makes it hard to save a penny (as everyone in my situation knows). Hard work keeps a roof over my head but doesn't allow me enough to be able to make it to California for my sister Sarah's happy wedding. It is so important to me to be there for her, but I just don't see a way. I am not the type to seek handouts, but was told to ask for help. Will you help out one of the countless young people at a financial roadblock, and a committed sister in her pursuit of Maid of Honordom?
