The Alabama Martial Arts Build-Vention 2015
April 8 to 12, 2015 in Greensboro, Alabama
Celebrating a decade of martial arts volunteerism in Greensboro, Sensei Paul Castagno and his students will again converge upon The Catfish Capital of Alabama with other martial artists from around the country to take their values out of the dojo and into the world. While we are there we will work to restore the impovrished community as well as build a house for someone in dire need of a suitable home.
While the extact details on the project have not been told to us yet by HERO, the last two years we have attended we were able to build a house in 3 days as well as restore other old structures and even donate a little time at a animal shelter.
All money raised is donated directly to the Hale Empowerment & Revitalization Organization Inc (http://www.herohousing.org/) and will be used exclusively for the projects we will be working on while we are there.
If we all do a little bit it can add up to a lot. So any amount is appreciated and together we can make a big impact.
