It is with a heavy heart that I announce that on December 15, 2014 we lost one of our Team Shelby and Mid-Florida Mustang Club members. Jerry Willmert, Sr., 73, of Winter Springs passed away.
Jerry was a very active member in both organizations and had a sincere passion for Shelby automobiles. It was not uncommon to notice that Jerry was always one of the first to show up and display his beautiful Shelby GT 500 at any of our local shows and cruise-ins. Jerry, you will always remain with us in spirit and fond memories.
Gerard Lincoln Willmer was born in Wisconsin. He was an entrepenaur in the beverage service industry. Jerry was also a navy veteran.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandra L. Colon, Jenny Pearl Poole and Brenda Lee Weekes and his son Gerald Lincoln Willmert, Jr..
