Rough Times x 2 Accident/Melanoma

Hello. I joined because this has been a really Crazy rough 2 years
first let me start out by saying my husband was in an accident 2 years ago now and is in pain everyday from his accident he was in a wheelchair for a while and wasnt easy for him to get around at all.. but while his case is still setteling he works part time so we can get by..even though he has had 4 surgeries and his foot is so bad that it is swollen when he gets home everynight
Now for me i was just diagnosed with atypical Spitzoid Melanoma... just when we thought maybe we could catch a break... i got the news yesterday i will have to be out of work for up to 3 months this is because when they remove the Melanoma i have to have a skin graft and be in a cast and wheelchair for the graft to heal properly i will also undergo a sentinel node biopsy at the same time .. i have not been at my current job for a year...but i do have health insurance But i am not eligible for the short term disability or any paid leave at that...
So i am asking for your help as i cannot work for these 3 months... it is going to be difficult to still pay our Insurance, Rent, utlilities and all the medical bills that will be coming in! thank you so much we really appreciate it alot! God Bless!
