Rylee's Service Dog

Donation protected
I'm asking for your help and support in raising money for Rylee's Mobility Service Dog. This has been a wish of Rylee's since she asked Santa Dec. 2014. at the Lompoc Elk's Christmas Luncheon.

Rylee was born with spastic diplegia a form of cerebral palsy. Through intensive therapy and hard work on her part she has learned to sit up, crawl, walk with a walker and finally walk without one.
But, still Rylee's challenges continue.

Rylee's automatic reflex to protect herself when she falls is absent. So with her instability on uneven ground, going down a hill or stepping on or off a curb without help is an obstacle for her. Rylee has fallen and ended up with bruises, cuts on her legs, arms or bumps on her head from it.

Because of this, Rylee would benefit in having Buck her canine companion help stabilize her walking, help her up when she falls, use as a barrier from people who don't see her, retrieve items she is not able to get and other things that can give her independence, confidence, higher quality of life and a long term companion she can depend on.

In talking with Buck's trainer, he estimates there will be traveling expenses so Rylee and Buck can learn to be a team together. Because of donations thus far we are in the middle of this process in attaining this for Rylee. Having a trained companion with Rylee gives her a loving companion 24/7 and a dog trained to fill the physical needs she is not able to do by herself. Please donate to Rylee's cause and make a huge difference in the life of a child today!
