I am making this profile for my best friend. She is a single mother of two going through hard times. I am keeping her name anonymous as she doesn't know that I am raising these funds for her. She works very hard full time while single handedly raising her children. She doesn't qualify for government assistance because the government claims that she 'makes too much money'.Yet she is still almost $900 short every month just in providing her family with their basic needs. She has no help from the father an in fact has incurred more debt because of him. On top of everything, now her 4 year old daughter needs 4 pulpoptomies which will require anesthesia. She has minimal coverage for this $5000 surgery.
My friend has endured not one but two abusive relationships over the past fifteen years, it has taken her this long to find the confidence to be independent and fend for herself and her children.
I cannot stress enough how absolutely phenomenal she has done despite the circumstances, she is a pillar of strength I admire everyday.
She isn't one to ask for help from anyone and because we are so close I know the struggles she is now facing. She has exhausted all her resources, maxed out all her credit cards. I hope that someone sympathetic or even empathetic can help me in my quest to make my besties life a little bit easier. She should be rewarded for her courage to face the uncertainties of raising two children alone, not punished by financial obligations because she works her very hardest!
