Jeremiah Johnson House Fire Fund

On Friday, February 27, 2015, MPD Detective Jeremiah Johnson (Youth Division), his wife, and 18-month old son escaped a fire in the condo they were renting in Alexandria, Virginia.  They were able to escape the building without injuries, but the entire 2nd floor of their unit was destroyed.  A link to the story may be found here: http://www.wjla.com/articles/2015/02/young-family-escapes-alexandria-condo-blaze-111876.html

All donations made on this GOFUNDME page will be deposited directly into the bank account to the Johnson family.  

The family is currently staying in an extended stay hotel and due to space, has asked that all donations be in the form of gift cards to the following stores:

TARGET GIFT CARDS – for the purchase of clothing, diapers, and baby wipes, as well as other necessities for the infant

GENERIC GIFT CARDS – for example: Visa/American Express

GROCERY STORES – Safeway, Giant, and Wegman’s gift cards or other grocery stores in the Northern Virginia area
