My Mission Trip to Germany

I believe God gives us all different passions, and one I have always personally had is to go on a missions trip in another country! I love telling people about the amazing relationship they were born to have with Jesus and that it's not actually about any specific religion or long "check list" they feel like they will never be good enough to complete. It's about the RELATIONSHIP!
As most of you know, I recently moved to San Francisco this past summer to begin graduate school in my pursuit to be a marriage and family therapist. Since making this city my new home, I have become apart of an amazing church called "Sacred Church" in Burlingame, CA (20 minutes outside SF).
This 2015 summer, I want to travel with a small group from Sacred and spread the love of God to people in Germany. I am hoping to raise enough money to go on my very first mission trip!
Here are the details of my trip:
Once a year, “Students For Christ” (a college campus ministry in Europe) holds a training conference in Germany, called Connect Conference, which serves to train university students all over Europe, equipping them to reach their fellow students with the love and truth of Christ. The several full-time missionaries, who are involved with SFC throughout Europe, and run the conference, also bring their families to the conference. The team I will be apart of will be providing a quality kids camp for the children of the full-time missionaries. As my group experienced last year, this is a vital need. Most of these missionary kids don't have a real healthy home church to attend, so this camp is a great chance to teach them about having a personal relationship with Jesus (rather than just knowing the Bible).
With our team doing this camp for the kids, it also alleviates the responsibility from the parents (who would just be watching the kids, and not really putting on a camp for them) so that they can focus on their ministry during that week of running the conference and training up college students.
I will be gone from July 24-August 4. The conference is July 25-August 1!
My goal is to raise $3000 to cover the expenses of my trip (this includes, lodging, food, and traveling on both plane and train).
I will be praying about this! I feel very led that God wants me on this trip and I'm going to put the stress of having enough money to go in his hands!
