Car Transmission

My car transmission gave out while i was on the highway returning home for thanksgiving break. I was traveling home from taking my finals at Georgia State university and my car just stopped in the middle of a turn in uncoming traffic thankfully i had enough to get it towed to my mother’s house. However without a vechile i have no other ride to school and if i dont get a ride soon ill he forced to negate this semester or drop out because i wont have a way to male money to afford the cost of be a college student and books and things ofnthat nature please help me whatever you can give is much appreciated the goal is $1000 but ill be happy with just $200 to be honest
