Fund Tablet & More for J. Forwood

Thank you for visiting my page! I am passionate about creating and about art in all of its forms! I am self taught and have spent the last decade studying, learning, and refining my artwork. It's time to move forward with using digital media and color, and offering what I have for sale. I'd like to get involved designing tattoos, band and movies posters, t-shirt designs and toys and stickers. My dream is to do what I love for a living and create pieces that are beautiful and stand the test of time.My artistic inspirations are Gustave Dore, Edward Gorey, Alex Grey, and Pushead among others- my creations are usually dark and otherworldly. Recently I have moved from hand drawings in pen and ink black and white to using Photoshop. I need a professional tablet like the Cintiq 13HD to be mobile around the house and work on my artwork while caring for my daughter.

It's time for me to take the leap and create more digital art for sale, and afterwards to offer my work and services for sale. I need the money for a tablet and other supplies.  These things may not seem expensive but trust me they add up very quickly and we just don't have it after all the bills are paid for and providing for 2 adults and a baby.

The way to do that is sell my artwork online for a fair price- Posters, t-shirts, hoodies, stickers and toys- any my services- tattoo designs, band designs, movie posters, etc. I need help to finally make my dream a reality.

*Get new Cintiq HD digital tablet
*Complete my website w/ ecommerce store to sell merch
*Order first run stock from vendors for t-shirts, posters, stickers
*Order packing materials to send out first orders
 




Risks and challenges
There are no obstacles that should slow this project down! We've shopped around and have vendors lined up for t-shirt, poster and sticker printing. We are shopping for a vendor that can do resin toys in a limited run (for later). We've researched the shipping costs and methods.

I'm determined for this project to be successful no matter what. I can't thank you enough for your support and contributing to the launch of my artwork!
