JERRI LANSDALE MEMORIAL AWARD FUND
My name is David Lansdale, I live in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Jerri Lansdale was my wife for just under 30 years. I lost Jerri to cancer March 5th, 2018. I tried to think of a way to thank public safety employees due to our careers. My two children and I came up with this idea to both thank emergency services personell and keep Jerri’s memory alive by this funds use.
I have secured a Non Profit status for this fund and have obtained the State Certificate and IRS documents.
This fund will be used to reward one outstanding Emergency Services Dispatcher annually on the date Jerri passed. (3-5-2018) The award amount will be $500.00. If I can secure enough donations I will add one Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer and Fireman on the same date. The recipients will be nominated by agency heads submitting their nominations to me (David Lansdale) with a description of why they believe their selection should be considered for the award any time during the year until March 1st of that year. I will review all and along with my children make a final determination of who shall receive the award. Recipients of the award will be contacted and provided with a check in the amount of $500.00.
The fund has been set up at the State Bank of Wynnewood, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.

Note; I wanted Jerri to be remembered. She was a dispatcher for over 25 years in Garvin County, Oklahoma and took care of “her, guys and gals”. She tolerated my law enforcement career for 20 years and Military for 13 years as well. She loved her job and performed it well. Help me honor Jerri and these public servants and keep Jerri’s legacy going for years to come. I have also donated to this cause and will continue to do so. I know she would have loved this idea.
