Jeanie's Funeral

This lovely lady sadly lost her battle with cancer last week. 
Jeanie spent her life struggling financially, she was a very proud person & didn't like asking for help but unfortunately she was forced to do so just to get by.
She spent many years having to access soup kitchens & charities to help feed herself & her family.
Jeanie was well known & very much loved by her friends & the community.
I've just found out that sadly Jeanie's family are unable to pay for her to have the burial service she wished for.
This means that she will be given a 'paupers' service.
It breaks my heart to think that she can't be laid to rest with her other family members which was her dying wish. Unfortunately when you aren't in the financial position to pay for a loved ones funeral you have to do what the system dictates.
My mission is to raise enough funds for a burial service so she can finally be laid to rest with her other family members.
If we aren’t successful enough to raise the full amount for a burial service the family have asked if the money can go to buying some lovely flowers for her coffin & maybe a small buffet after the service so they have the opportunity to thank everyone & celebrate this very special lady’s life.
