Journey to Cannes Film Fest

Hello,
I am Nick Glenn, a student, husband, and aspiring chef. Over the past years, I have grown attached to the field of culinary arts. In order to pursue my dreams, I decided to attend culinary school to learn more about cooking and to increase what I've learned about it. Currently, I'm enrolled in the Louisiana Culinary Institute and also work as a cook at the Jefferson Street Pub in Lafayette, LA. While in school, I also have participated in a few contest including: The Louisiana Cooking Sweet Potato Contest (1st Place) and the XV Home Plate Classic (1st Place). I am now looking to expand my knowledge and learn new things and styles of cooking by traveling to Cannes, France for the Cannes Film Festival. Here I will cook for The American Pavilion and learn different styles of cooking from many people around the world. My pledged goal of 3,000 dollars will help to cover my flight there, food cost, lodging, and hopefully some spending money. Any donation is helpful and thank you in advance!
