Waiting for the shoe to drop

Leeloo and her babies are back again at the emergency vet.  The Who clan is doing well but momma has a fever and high white count, complete with abdominal pain and swelling.   They are running more tests, and monitoring her closely.   Please keep her in your thoughts. 


Due to the overwhelming and incredible generosity and outpouring of love of all our friends, we have raised more then enough to cover all of Leeloos surgery.  Any donations beyond that cost will be used for her and her babies ongoing care, and the care of all the amazing special creatures we take in.

Leeloo a pregnant deaf boxer was tied to a porch her whole life.  Her owners decided to go away on vacation so they dumped her at the shelter.  Some amazing rescue volunteers contacted Deaf Dogs Rock who got us her info and we immediately went to get her.  
Here for only two days, she went Into labor and delivered five beautiful babies on Christmas Eve.   Then this morning, while everyone was unwrapping presents, Leeloo spiked a fever and we immediately rushed her to the emergency vet.   After xrays it is clear she has retained puppies that need to be removed ASAP via c section.   Please consider helping with  this bill so we can continue in or mission to help dogs like Leeloo!,
