What's up everyone, my name is Javana Mundy and I am an actor from New York by way of Atlanta. I have been accepted to the British Academy of Dramatic Arts Summer program in association with Yale School of Drama. This will take place at Magadelen College in London July 10th - August 9th (My Birthday).

The BADA Midsummer in Oxford Program is designed for serious acting students and concentrates on classical acting with an emphasis on Shakespeare. The faculty consists of both British and American leading theatre practitioners and is run in association with Yale School of Drama.

Leaving my career in buisness and fashion to become an Actor was a far off dream for years. I finally let go of that fear three years ago. In 2015 I am not only graduationg with my MFA from the prestigious Actors Studio Drama School here in New York but have this opportunity to finish out my training in the land where classical acting began at BADA. For those of you who have ever had a dream that has been muffled by fear and conquered it you know what this means to me. I am living my calling, however investing in myself can be costly at times. Even with my scholarship aid this program is alot!

I am definitely stepping out of my comfort zone to ask you all for a little financial help to get me there. I am graduating and back into the real world so pride aside I need all the help I can get for this trip or I can't go.

I am trying to raise $7,000 by June 29th. The program cost $5950 and the flight cost up to a little over $1000. I would really really appreciate if you would be able to donate anything.
