I'm participating in King of Queens to benefit AIDS Care Ocean State.
King of Queens is a competition where drag queens become a mother to someone who has never done drag. And this year, I've thrown in wig into the ring to be a contestant. My fabulous drag mom, Haley Star, will make me a glamorous queen for one night only to perform at the show, but more importantly, I'll be raising money for a great cause.
AIDS Care Ocean State is dedicated to providing quality housing, case management, medical and nursing care, and prevention to adults, families, adolescents and children who are affected by or at risk for HIV infection.
King of Queens is Sunday, May 7, 6pm, @ the Colosseum in Providence. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here: http://bit.ly/KOQ2017 Be sure to select my name during the checkout to have them counted towards my fundraising goal!
Thank you so much for your support, I'm truly humbled by the opportunity to help our community along with the other amazing contestants.... now I need to figure out how to walk in heels.... any tips? :)
