I'm Jake Wrobel and I'm a rugger!
Short story: I have the amazing opportunity to tour with the Stars Rugby 7s team to Trinidad and Tobago in December, with other locations like Las Vegas, Samoa and Calgary on the schedule after the new year. If you know me, you know rugby is my life and this is an opportunity I've been working for, practicing for, dreaming of for years.

Long story: I grew up in Sacramento, California where I found rugby in high school. I was already an athlete; playing football, wrestling, doing track and field, all having started very young with gymnastics. I immediately knew rugby was a sport at which I would excel and love. I played three years in high school which included three years for the USA Junior Eagles. In college I played for UC 'Cal' Berkeley under Head Coach Jack Clark. I recently moved to Glendale, Colorado to play with the Glendale Raptors in Rugbytown USA. I hope to move further in men's play, whether it takes me to our national team or a professional team somewhere.
Players must come out of pocket or fundraise to travel like this so I'm asking you to help me reach my goals. The Trinidad and Tobago trip will be about $2,500. Every dollar counts, so even if it's only $5 or $10, it will help. I appreciate your support more than you know!
