Hi everyone - Cassandra here, a.k.a. Themiscyra, a.k.a. the Random Fangirl. If you follow me at all, you know that money\'s been kind of tight for a while. I\'ve started a new job, but I won\'t be paid for a few weeks, and...well, honestly, crap has kind of been hitting the fan. I just came off of PAX East, which was pretty expensive even with a free pass and a lot of generous help from friends, to find a nice $1500 bill from my recent hospital stay waiting for me. On top of that, my laptop, which has served me ably for a couple years, is clearly beginning to die. And, honestly, I could really use cash to pay some other bills and give myself and my family some breathing room.
Look - I\'m not going to die if I don\'t get money right now. But I\'d be lying if I said everything was totally okay. If you need your money yourself, or if you gave all you had to spare to more worthy causes, I get it. But anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated. I\'m setting the initial goal at $5000; that should more than cover the medical bills, a new laptop, and plenty of support for my family. Anything past that...well, there\'ll always be more bills, and, yeah, I could certainly always use money for food and entertainment and such.
