Jacob’s Service Dog Journey
Donation protected
Jacob is the twin son of Brian and Jenn Demith. He is a spunky, lively 2 1/2 year old; brother to Kristyn and twin to Emily. Jacob is a strong little man, but he started showing signs of being behind developmentally early on. Jacob has several issues he is currently battling including hypotonia (low muscle tone), sensory processing disorder (SPD), along with being globally developmentally delayed. Despite all of the odds against him, he is an amazing little boy that impresses his entire family every single day. Jenn and Brian are looking to adopt a golden retriever puppy to be a service dog for Jacob to help with the physical and emotional needs he is going to have as he continues to grow and develop. Service dog training is obviously a steep price, but worth it to see their son continue to flourish as he faces new obstacles. Seeing as service dogs are not something that are covered by insurance, they are turning to family and friends to help them afford the extensive training costs that the puppy will need in order to help Jacob. Please help them out as they continue to search for answers for their son, and they will be sure to keep everyone updated as they continue down this road with Jacob and their girls.
