Jack’s new wheels
Donation protected
So as many of you know my son Jack has cerebral palsy and recently discovered wheelchair Athletics. He has only been training for 1 hour a week at our local track using a spare racing chair that is too big for him. Yesterday he had his first attempt at the mini marathon in London but unfortunately had a chair failure mid race. The footplate snapped off complete. But thanks to the quick thinking of the Westminster police and some amazing spectators they managed to tie his footplate up so he continued and was able to complete the race. However Jack is now left with a broken chair so we are looking to actually purchase Jack his own racing wheels so he can continue to train.
