Whyte to Red

Tis the season they say.. I have been working closely with Ronald McDonald House on a fundraising campaign called "Whyte to Red" and my work was a participant. We had a donation jar and nice paper balloons for people to put their name on and place on a string of lights that went around our front desk. We were doing awesome, we had a couple hundred dollars in the bucket and alot of tags with names on it. I got to work this morning and last night at around 6pm some guy walks into my work, heads over to the bathroom and on his way out he decides hes going to steal the jar and ran out the front door.. Our awesome front desk staff and director of Ops chased him down to try and get the money but he was gone, he grabbed the bills and as much coin as he could and dropped the bucket.
Police were called, video watch and Money lost.

I get that people are having a hard time at this time of year and people struggle with whatever demons they have. But WHY OH WHY would you steal a jar thats set to help charity!
