Car for Christmas

Donation protected
Okay so it is no surprise to anyone I worry about the elderly. I don't know why I do, but I do. So long story long, I am requesting help from all of you. There is a substitute teacher at my daughters  school who is also a bus driver. I dropped my daughter off at school this morning in the "back" of the school and I never do that. While sitting in our nice warm car I notice an "older" gentleman, mid 60's walking with a rolling brief case and a hoodie. It was 40 degrees this morning.
He stopped and talked to some people in their cars and then walked across the many acres parking lot past us. I asked my daughter who that was and she said "oh! That is Mr. So and So. He is a bus driver and a substitute. When he is finishes driving his bus and he isn't teaching, he walks over to the bus stop and waits for the city bus. He is from Germany. He is the best sub ever! We all love his accent! And he raps and sings to us to get us to learn. Wall all love him!"
I said "it is awfully cold to be out walking in this, should we give him a ride?" To wich she responded "no he does this every day, he is use to it. He will be okay. He will have a car some day, he is saving up".
Well that did it. I can't know what I know now and not come up with a plan. To me this is a guy who our kids at Glenn middle school love. He is reaching them on a level most full time teachers don't achieve in 30 years of teaching. Grace went on and on about him.

I am a person who beleives in helping those who are working/helping themselves. I also beleive in teachers. Even though he is part time, our kids are learning something from him, I can tell by the way my daughter  lit up when she spoke about him.

So here is the favor. I know of a car that is for sale. It is a single owner car. I know the person selling it. She has treated this car well. The exterior and interior are in excellent condition, and the motor is in perfect shape. It is 8 years old, but she only stopped using it because she wanted somehting new. Nothing is wrong with it and I think I can get a good deal on it. I would like to give our German substitute teacher/bus driver a Merry Christmas. I would like to see him get into a warm car after his early morning on the bus route with all the kids he takes care of and not walk in the freezing cold to a bus stop to wait in more cold.
So I am asking all of you, especially parents of kids at Glenn Middle School, to help this man out. If we can come up with enough money we can give back to a man that gives to our kids and doesn't even ask for a ride to the bus stop.
If you want to help, I would like to do this before Christmas. I know this is short notice, but I have the best friends and facebook friends ever. I know how giving you all are. I know it is hard to give a life changing expirience alone, but together I think we can do just that. This is that opportunity to completely help out an unsuspecting, deserving stranger. Please message me or just write on this message if you would be willing to help. I am taking advantage of your Christmas Spirit and asking you to help get a warm ride for a great person who deserves our help! Any amount would help! My business owner friends , this is a last minute tax deduct! If you can not help, please share this status.
