Who are we?
We’re the feisty roller derby league from Sydney’s Inner West suburbs.
Our rep squad is The Skatecrashers, and we've got some serious pride in our area's punk heritage.
Maybe you know some of our members? Or maybe you’ve met us at tournaments? We’re not sure how you’ve come to this fundraising page, but we’re sure glad you did.
We've had a big 2014, playing bouts locally and interstate, plus taking on a radical new bunch of “Fresh Meat” skaters. We’re getting ready to smash 2015 even harder.
Why are we fundraising?
We recognise that our members are at the heart of everything we do. We’re trying to put more in the kitty, so that we can support them to be the best skaters, refs, NSO’s and volunteers in the derby universe.
Your financial contribution will go a long way. Here are just some of the things it will support:
- Offsetting the cost of new uniforms
- Paying for guest coaches and for our members to attend derby clinics
- Contributing to fees for first aid training
- Helping us source training equipment and game supplies
- Facilitating travel to tournaments

Come meet us in person!
If you’re in the hood, come down and hang with us at our carnival-themed party. There’ll be games for kids of all ages, a DJ set from SPOD and $5 schooners thanks to our friends at Young Henrys . Plus, we're putting on a little something we call Derby Girl Bowling.
