Baby Joseph Glynn Kennedy was born Nov. 7 after an uncomplicated pregnancy. Much to his entire family's surprise, he is now facing and overcoming many challenges in his very new life. Joseph has been diagnosed with opitz sydrome, complicated by a dandy-walker malformation. These disorders include a variety of abnormalities, the most severe in his case (among many less severe) include an absent cerebelum and tethered spinal cord. Joseph will face many surgeries in the coming months and is currently at Scottish rite children's hospital in Atlanta, several hours from home. This fund is to help his family travel to support him as he overcomes these very unique obstacles and afford the many many necessary supplies to keep Joseph stable and comfortable.
