Getting My Novel Edited

My name is Chantel and I'm an aspiring writer. I've written an urban fiction novel and I've created this account to help with the cost of editing as well as an eye-catching book cover. I plan to sell my story through Amazon's Kindle app. Urban fiction is very popular on the site but many readers/ reviewers are disappointed by grammatical and puncuation errors. I assume some authors may feel the rush to get their books on the market in order to turn a profit even if that means cutting corners. The problem is that errors can frustrate readers and in some cases cause them to put the book down completely. This is why I want to take the time out to have my novel edited professionally before it is released. Being a working parent with three children puts somewhat of a strain on being financially able to spend money on a personal project as opposed to paying rent or car insurance.
