Phil's "Whip This Cancer" Campaign

I have recently been shocked with the diagnosis of throat cancer – metastatic squamous cell carcinoma! I will be going through both chemo and radiation, and although we do have insurance, it will pay maybe 80%. The initial estimate is $40,000-$50,000 and we can't pay our bills now. I would never ask for myself, but a couple of friends have prodded me to start this gofund account in hopes of raising some much-needed help. Donna and I are going through some serious stress-filled trials, mostly financial, and it looks like these medical bills will take us far beyond the breaking point so that we may have to lose our little house. Sad, but a house is only wood and nails – we will make our home together wherever we go. I'm going to try my best to continue working throughout this ordeal, even short days.
