Seizure Survivor Needs to Survive

Donation protected
My name is Liz, and I am a seizure survivor. Seizure disorders are a serious problem, and often lie hidden or unnoticed for years.

My seizures were diagnosed 6 years ago, and since then, life as I knew it has completely turned upside down. My job, education- and seemingly, my dreams -were lost.

My seizures meant the end of my photography career- I became terrified that I could have a sudden unexpected seizure, and fall over on someone's baby. Because my seizures are unexpected, and often leave me incoherent for days, scheduling shoots became near impossible. Seizures can also create memory issues, making equipment and software difficult to use at times.

Since the diagnosis of my seizures, I have also lost my home - but thankfully, I have wonderful friends who have helped keep me off the streets. I keep myself busy by donating my time and artwork to the National Seizure Disorders Foundation.

I am not giving up! I love my friends, my family, and despite the challenges, I love my life.

I want to use my pain and frustrations to help others; To help other seizure survivors realize that they are not alone, that there are others who understand, and that they too can survive - but first, I need to get back on my feet.

I kindly request any help that can be provided. Excess funds will be donated to help other seizure survivors who are in similar situations.

Thank you for you time and consideration.
