My name is Joyce and I live a few homes down from the Gemmell home that was destroyed by the jet plane and led to the tragic loss of 6 precious lives.
On Wednesday, December 10 a small group of neighbors met in my home to grieve for the Gemmell family and discuss how to help. Out of that time we decided to help the two neighboring families who were displaced in the tragedy.
Neither family wants to distract from the support being raised for the Gemmell family and they are not asking for assistance, I have been in touch with the families and know that they are in need of basic items to rebuild their lives, as they will be out of their homes for 4 to 6 months. One home was occupied by a married couple, their daughter and her fiancée and the other house, a single resident.
Everything that is given will go to directly to these 2 households.
