First & Foremost...Nya:weh (Thank you) for taking the time to read my story...
My name is Maggie & I've recently been diagnosed with cancer.
As a chiropractor, it's my job to heal my patients...turns out this doctor needs some healing too!
The type of cancer I have been diagnosed with is 'aggressive'. The statistics aren't great (but I hated that course in school so let's not dwell on numbers). I'm still considering surgery but with a high reoccurrence rate & a very precious location (my tongue)...I'd like to minimalize invasiveness (2 biopsies were enough TY!)
A complete lifestyle change is necessary...
As I have had to take a leave of absence from my practice...I have no income as of yet...
My Goal is to raise enough money to continue my 'wholistic' treatments I began at Hippocrates...at home...consisting of Vitamin C Intravenous therapy, a raw-living organic/Non GMO diet, meditation & yoga as well as daily supplementation of systemic & digestive enzymes, thyroid replacement, Green tea extract, curcurmin & a few others.
I have worked my ass off & still need support to continue this journey.
The Upside...
Learning & Loving Nutrition taught me why I weighed 205lbs my freshman year (despite being a varsity athlete); introduced me to 'GMOs' & food toxicology; encouraged me to eat healthier & even taught me how to encourage healing after spinal & achilles surgery.
"Food IS Medicine"...
The Downside...
A lifetime of stress & anxiety, sub optimal genetics & a family history that sounds un-believable...had finally taken a toll on my 33 year old soul. Witnessing my father endure chronic illness; my brother battle schizophrenia; my sister fall from my idol & mentor to drug addict; my now 20 year old niece struggle with her mother & the aftermath of battling cancer at age 2...all the while I earned an education...left a very weak support system. (I am also currently in court vs a large bank regarding bankruptcy.)
Hence this plea for assistance....
The Even-Greater UPSIDE...
I do NOT focus on the negative (despite my familial tendencies lol) as I practice the 'Law of Attraction'...better late than never ;-)
Quantum Physics has proven that everything (even us)...if broken down into its smallest components (as science loves to quantify & deduce)...contain nothing more than Energy! Energy...whether light, heat, magnetism, even US...produce a certain vibration or frequency. Like a ripple in a pond...our thoughts will resonate into the Multiverse & the Subconscious Universal Mind (or God/Allah, Source, etc) will present to us what it thinks we want/need...it truly is a Holographic Universe.
Therefore, I believe this opportunity has 'present'ed itself (at Christmas nonetheless) so that I can inspire, teach & attest to the fact that the Human Body can (& will) heal itself...we chiropractors call it "Innate". With my educational background, vibrant spirit (recently reacquainted thanks to Reiki) & intense motivation...I envision an incredibly long & fulfilled, happy & harmonious life.
'This too shall pass'...I just need some help getting past this hurdle...
