We are striving to keep the Inyokern Town Hall open and available for use to the public. Due to past economic situations, we inherited a weak organization. The Inyokern Chamber of Commerce is bouncing back but we still need a little help from you.
We are all unpaid volunteers at the Inyokern Chamber of Commerce. The Town Hall is due for repair and we need a bit more funding for that and our other services. If we are only able to get a fraction of the amount requested, we would be flabbergasted.
We want to keep the Town Hall open for public meetings, fun events, possibly dances, mixers, and other events.
Inyokern has been where the civilization of the Indian Wells Valley sprung from. It was once Southern Pacific Railroad "Siding 16." Now the area is home to the Military installation, the Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) China Lake.
