Pizzas for my Indiana Gay Wedding

Donation protected
Hello Pizza Lovers of all Religions, Races, & Sexes,

By now you've probably heard the statements made by Memories Pizza in Walkerton, IN invoking Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration Act.  The following is one of the quotes that caused the internet to explode with anger at the pizzeria's discrimination.

Memories Pizza owner Crystal O’Connor told local ABC News affiliate, “If a gay couple came in and wanted us to provide pizzas for their wedding, we would have to say no.” “We are a Christian establishment. Though they are welcome to patronize the establishment for non-matrimonial events."

I'm kind of bummed because I was hoping to have Memories Pizza cater for my gay wedding! (said no one ever).  But let's try and turn this into something positive for the LGBTQ community in Indiana.

In lieu of pizzas for my gay wedding, I'd like to try and raise some money for the organization, Indiana Youth Group (www.indianayouthgroup.org) which helps to provide a safe and supportive environment for young LGBTQ people. Help to build a future for these kids free of discrimination and hate for simply being themselves.

Do the real Christian thing and donate to help those in need.

Thank you,

A fellow pizza lover
